We have been in Allen, Texas for a couple of months so far and boys do we have plenty of experiences and adventures so far. We some crazy weather. Within the first week and a half a small tornado ripped through. We awaoke to an alarm in the middle of the night and ran to the closet under the stairs which now has the official name of the "Tornado Closet". And we've had some new family experiences. We were excited to be growing, but life has it's twists and turns and we are going to stay a family of four. Jody is doing well and working hard. We are very proud of him. Matt has completed 3rd grade and is ready for 4th grade. He has gone to his first week of Scout twilight camp this week where he has learned to shoot bow and arrows and bee-bee guns. He keeps getting taller everytime I turn around as well. DJ is really developing a sense of humor and can be pretty hillarious at times. He wants to do everything his big brother is doing and tells everyone he is 8 years old. He got 5 shots at the doctor this week and I told him the doctors are here to help us. He must have thought about it a bit because later in the evening he said, "Mom, I don't want the doctor to help me anymore". I am keeping myself busy organizing, watching a couple kids (although I am down to 1 part timer now). But it give DJ someone to play with his age. I chopped my hair off and highlighted it for a change. I miss my family and friends in AZ a great deal, but I am trying to make the best of being here in TX. I'll be posting some more pictures of the kids soon.
